Welcome

Nicola’s has been set up in memory of Nicola Thyne, who ended her life on the 19th of January 2024 following her long and difficult journey with Endometriosis and Chronic Pain.

Nicola’s is dedicated to providing essential support and guidance to women, raising awareness of women’s health, mental health, and the importance of suicide‑prevention support.

With a compassionate approach, we focus on empowering women to seek the help they need and deserve. Our aim is to create a safe and understanding space where every woman feels listened to, supported, and encouraged to reach out when they are struggling — whether physically, emotionally, or during moments of deep distress.

We are committed to promoting early support, reducing stigma, and making sure women know that help is always available.

Together, we navigate the complexities of wellness and promote a healthier, safer, and happier life.

With love,
Nicola’s

🌸 WE DID IT 🌸 03-03-26

Nicola’s is now officially a registered Scottish Charity.

After months of hard work, paperwork, planning, meetings and belief… we are now formally recognised by OSCR as a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation.

This isn’t just a number.
This is protection.
This is accountability.
This is credibility.
This is growth.

Most importantly — this means stronger foundations so we can continue supporting women in West Lothian safely, sustainably and professionally.

Nicola’s was created in memory of Nicola, and today her name sits on the Scottish Charity Register. That feels powerful. That feels emotional. That feels right.

To every woman who has walked through our doors.
To every volunteer.
To every trustee.

To everyone who believed in us.

Thank you. 💗

We are just getting started.
